The Location
For our location, we would like to use somewhere like the photo above. A dark forest and a country lane. The twigs of all the winter trees look scary and can make you confused. They play tricks on the mind and are quite 'Trippy'. Our group brainstormed places we could film at which were the perfect location.
We thought of;
- Gramby Park private field. An empty field that links to a dark country road with lots of private houses. Not perfect as we do not want any houses in our shots.
- Cuffley woods. Only woods, no country lane, we are using a car in our shots so we need
- Bread and cheese lane. This is where we will shoot our film trailer. It has a very dark country road with tall trees either side, bushes and ditches. This will allow us to feature some very interesting Camera Angles and shots. The lane will be suitable for some driving shots of the two protagonists in the car 'having fun' before the incident happens.
The Plot
Our plot comes from an old 'Gypsy Tale'
Two girls will be playing our main protagonists. They have just left a party in the early hours of the morning and are driving home. They begin driving through a dark country lane still having fun, singing along to pop music.
All of a sudden, they stumble across a pram in the middle of the road. The girl who is driving the car stops, they look at eachother and discuss what to do.
They both leave the car and go and have a look at what's in the pram.
It is empty, they move the pram and continue their journey, a little shaken up but they ignore it and focus on getting home to their flat.
Everything turns when they notice the antagonist sitting in the back of the car, he must have got in when they left the car. The girls try to leave the car, they run, scream, cry etc to try and escape the antagonist.
This will be our film trailer.
The Characters
Two ordinary looking girls, in the video they will be wearing 'going out' clothes to fit the mise en scene of the trailer and to re establish where they have just been
